Do my photos get uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything — lettering, motifs, placement, blending — runs in your browser on your own device. No photo ever leaves your browser; there is no server to send it to.

How realistic is the try-on preview?

Honestly: it is a placement preview, not photo-real. The engine renders your design into the selected area with softened ink tones, feathered edges and subtle grain, so you get a faithful read on position, size, rotation and style on your own body. Wire in an AI image model (the built-in API layer supports it) and the same button produces studio-grade, photo-real results.

Can I use my own tattoo design?

Yes — switch the design source to Upload in the Try-On tab. A PNG with a transparent background blends best, but JPG and WEBP work too. Files up to 10 MB.

What file formats are supported?

Photos and custom designs: JPG, PNG or WEBP, up to 10 MB each. Downloads are PNG — with transparency for designs, flattened for try-on previews.

How does the $2.9 unlock work?

It unlocks exactly one result — the design or try-on preview currently on screen — at 1080p with no watermark. It stays unlocked for this browser session. Generate a new design or a new preview and that's a new result; unlock it separately if you want its HD copy too.

Why do the lettering fonts take a moment to appear?

Tattoo-grade script fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. The Generate button stays disabled until they're ready, so your lettering is always rendered in the style you picked — never silently swapped for a fallback font.
